Big win for Scratcher
Paul Costas is making the most of the “Think Fast” approach to racing. He unearthed a partially completed GT-1 Camaro project and bought it for pennies on the dollar, completed it in a very cost-effective manner, spent real money only on hardware that offered a near-certain performance payoff, and modified and developed the car in a very logical process. He has created a very inexpensive but scary-fast dominant track day car in the process. Early on, the bodywork of the car seemed to have a mind of its own, which resulted in some injuries and the car’s name: Scratcher.
